A Two-Day, One-Night Journey from the Wetland to Dairy Farmland, Experiencing the Vastness of Eastern Hokkaido
Starting from JR Toro Station, the route follows a road through the heart of the Kushiro Wetland toward the Kottaro Wetland. As you leave the wetland behind, the scenery gradually changes into expansive dairy farmland.
From largely untouched wetlands to gently rolling pastures, one of the highlights of this course is the contrast between these two vast landscapes.
Covering just under 50 km over two days, the journey offers a true sense of the scale of Eastern Hokkaido before entering the town of Shibecha. The route finishes at JR Shibecha Station.
